IECAH collaborates in the development of the training of the new European Solidarity Corps program

The IECAH is working within a consortium with different institutions at European level (Lattanzio Kibs and Punto Sud in Italy, Bioforce in France, Institute for International Law of Peace and Armed Conflict -IFHV- in Germany) to develop the training of the new “European Solidarity Corps” program.
The European Solidarity Corps is a funding program of the European Union that creates opportunities for young people to volunteer and carry out their own solidarity projects. This group of young people registers their interest in participating in projects related to solidarity and, being in agreement with the Mission and the Principles of the European Solidarity Corps, they undertake to defend them.
The organizations can request funding for their projects and, once approved, they will be able to access the group of participants to select the young people who could best fit each of the projects. The organizations will then contact these people as possible candidates and make a final decision.
