World Humanitarian Day 2024
Today, August 19 marks theWorld Humanitarian Day, a day dedicated to recognizing the efforts of humanitarian workers in assisting populations affected by conflict, natural disasters and other crisis situations.
Communication, advocacy and dissemination
From the area of communication, advocacy and dissemination, the aim is to promote the publication and dissemination of articles, in different formats and media, as well as the organization and participation in seminars, conferences, debate cycles, and congresses, both nationally and internationally with the objective of promoting the importance of humanitarian action and peacebuilding, promoting dialogue and cooperation between the various actors involved, as well as raising awareness in society in general of the fundamental nature of these issues for general well-being.
Breaking
Our dissemination work focuses on the publication of articles and contributions to the Institute’s area of expertise topics, both in external media and on our own website. Below you can consult some of our latest breaking publications as well as interventions made by our team in external media.

Advocacy
In addition to dissemination through social networks, publications, and newsletters, the Institute organizes numerous advocacy events addressed to a broad public interested in issues related to humanitarian action and peacebuilding.
National Conferences of Humanitarian Action
A biennial event where the most relevant issues for the sector are discussed.
Conference cycles
The IECAH organizes numerous cycles of conferences and debate seminars on current and relevant issues, in cooperation with different partners.
Webinars
The Institute hosts various webinars that are accessible to people from all over the globe to discuss current issues.
