IECAH completes four editions of the trainings for the volunteers of the European Solidarity Corps 2025

IECAH has completed four in-person training sessions for candidates for humanitarian aid volunteering within the European Solidarity Corps for 2025. To date, nearly 100 candidates have participated in these four editions.

As in previous years, these training sessions were held at the Sagrados Corazones residence in San Lorenzo del Escorial. The teaching team was made up of IECAH professionals and specialized consultants, covering key topics such as project management, interculturality, security, and gender mainstreaming.

“Very happy with the professionals delivering the course and with the organization.” – Participant MA19

“I loved all the content, the trainers were wonderful.” – Participant MA19

These training courses are implemented by a consortium made up of Lattanzio KIBS, Punto Sud, IECAH, Bioforce, and the Institute for International Law of Peace and Armed Conflict (IFHV), in collaboration with the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA), which plans to train around one thousand people to be eligible for volunteer positions in various parts of the world. Some participants from the initial editions have already been deployed to their destinations by their sending organizations.

IECAH will conduct two more editions to conclude the year 2025.
