PhD in Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid, Leticia is an associate researcher responsible for the Gender and Development area of ​​the University Institute for Development and Cooperation of the Complutense University of Madrid (IUDC-UCM). Teacher and trainer with experience in the fields of consulting and research and with a gender approach in development cooperation and humanitarian action, her main areas of knowledge are the participation of women in peace processes, gender violence in humanitarian contexts, and cross-border cooperation for development.
