Introduction
Assembly of Cooperation for Peace (ACPP), in coordination with the Institute of Studies on Conflicts and Humanitarian Action (IECAH), and with the collaboration of the Basque Agency for Development Cooperation and the City Council of Donostia / San Sebastián, will hold a series of two webinars on June 20th and 22nd that will analyze the power of information in Palestine.
Goal
The aim of this cycle is to make visible, through first-person experiences the power of the information in Palestine, traditional media and social networks, to share the difficulties on how to report on this context without repeating traditional hegemonic arguments and to learn about new narratives with a women’s perspective.
Sessions
Each session will count of specialists in each of the topics, and a person in charge of stimulating the debate. In this line, national and international specialists will engage in a participatory dialogue in which they will debate and reflect on the topics addressed. Time for audience questions will be reserved at the end of each session.
Both sessions will be available in English and Spanish.
Once the sessions are finished, they will be uploaded to the ACPP and IECAH YouTube channels and a conclusions document will be shared on both institutions’ websites.
