Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) has emerged as one of the optimal aid modalities to ensure the dignity and respect of millions of people around the world. Despite experiencing significant growth, CVA remains underutilized. If implemented whenever feasible and appropriate, CVA could represent between 30% and 50% of total humanitarian aid. Recipients of assistance prefer cash to in-kind aid in most parts of the world and crisis contexts. CVA has been used more frequently in recent times in various areas of human mobility. Several studies highlight their impact in different thematic areas, such as transfer modalities, gender differences, and work with stranded or unidentified persons or with host communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"c-title-3 wp-block-heading\"><strong>Objectives<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The workshop has the following objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To learn about different perspectives \/ experiences of organizations on CVA in human mobility contexts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To identify the challenges of CVA in human mobility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To identify experiences and lessons learned in relation to CVA and human mobility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"c-title-3 wp-block-heading\"><strong>Target audience<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The workshop is aimed at:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Professionals in development cooperation and\/or humanitarian action from public administration, NGOs, universities, and people with interest and\/or experience in CVA and\/or human mobility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other professionals interested in deepening and updating their knowledge in these matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"c-title-3 wp-block-heading\"><strong>Methodology<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The workshop intends to be practical in nature and will alternate theoretical presentations with the exposition of reflections, findings, and practical cases. One part of the workshop will be conducted in plenary; the other part will be managed in small groups to facilitate the active participation of all participants. The workshop will be facilitated online through the Zoom platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"c-title-3 wp-block-heading\"><strong>Working language<\/strong>s<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The workshop will be facilitated in Spanish with simultaneous interpretation into English and French*. Working groups will be organised according to language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>*The languages of interpretation will be confirmed, depending on the preferred language of the people who register for the workshop.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"c-title-3 wp-block-heading\"><strong>Registrations<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to limited capacity, priority will be given to professionals from the Spanish cooperation &#8211; governmental and NGO sector and their local partners, and to professionals related to human mobility and\/or global OMCs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">*R<em>egistration deadline: April 18th.
